The Forester XT gets these features over the Forester XS:

2.5 Litre turbo engine, rear roof spoiler, 17" alloy wheels, bonnet scoop, engine cover, xenon headlights, alloy pedals, silver instrument panel, more torque and more power.

Underneath the distinctive bonnet scoop you’ll discover the powerful Boxer engine capable of producing 169 kW of power at 5,200 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 2,800 rpm

The Forester XT features electronic throttle control or ‘drive-by-wire’ technology, similar to that used on the Subaru World Rally Cars, producing smoother drivability and improved fuel economy.
